Gerbera Jamesonii Royal Mini

Royal Mini is a new, extreme early flowering series.
It develops many flowers in bright colours - approx. 50% with dark center.
The plants are compact and have a prostrate growing habit, which is important for the development of many buds.
Royal Mini is very floriferous and eye-catching.

Royal is available in 9 different colours:
Deep Rose, Golden Orange, Lime Yellow, Orange, Rose with White Tips, Red, Scarlet, Yellow, White-Soft Pink.

Sowing Medium:Lightly fertilized peat.

Sowing:
In trays, i.e. 96 plug tray. After sowing irrigate and cover trays with a thin layer of Vermiculite.
To obtain optimum humidity we recommend covering the trays with plastic.
Gerbera seeds need light to germinate.

Germination Temperature:
21 - 23 ¡ãC (70-73¡ãF).

Time to Germinate:
4-6 days. After germination and before the young plants start to stretch, the plastic must be removed and the trays placed on benches in a greenhouse.

Potting:
6 weeks from sowing the young plants are ready to be potted.

Pot Size:
9 - 10 cm

Potting Medium:
Fully fertilized peat.

Growing Temperature:
Night temperature 18-21 ¡ãC (65-70¡ãF). Ventilation and good air circulation is recommended.
Daytime temperature 20-24 ¡ãC (68-75¡ãF). During sunny periods it is necessary to shade the greenhouse to maintain an ideal climate.

Production:
2-3 weeks after potting the plants must be spaced.
Final spacing: 28-35 pots pr m2.

Growth Regulator:
If necessary spray with 0,11-0,2 % Alar.

Artificial Light:
If daylight is less than 13-14 hours we recommend use of artificial light.

Sales Period:
6-7 weeks after potting.
